March 2005 - Jinja, Uganda

On our travels through this quaint town, we encountered an orphanage run by an American group of volunteers who’s only source of funding came from donations taken at church’s across the US. At the time we were unaware but were later informed that the donation we made had come just in time as they had just run out of funding and were in desperate need of money for stores of milk for the children and babies.
December 2006 - Tsunami - Sri Lanka

The Katagoda pre-school located in a pavilion, part of a Mosque, in the middle of a refugee camp. The 'school' is attended by 65 children under 5. Many of the children are orphans. None have a permanent home. Many of these children continue to suffer from trauma and the sheer numbers of other children surrounding them during school, let alone having equipment for schooling.
Through great support from our suppliers we have been able to supply complete school packs for the children of this school.
With special thanks to: Bic, Helix, Sheaffer, Stabilo & Steadtler.
